Every year, the IMI Stakeholder Forum gathers IMI’s stakeholders in health and medicines research and development, providing them with an opportunity to learn about and discuss IMI's latest activities and plans. The 2016 Forum is taking place in Brussels, Belgium, on Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 September.

The second day of the forum will be dedicated to workshops on the IMI’s strategic research areas, which include advanced therapies, biopreparedness, oncology, and digital health.

Professor Hotopf, from King’s College London, UK, will present the RADAR-CNS project as part of the workshop on digital health. IMI is focusing on digital health through RADAR-CNS and the WEB-RADR project. In addition to presenting these two projects, the workshop will discuss the use of digital technologies in medicine; identify what patients, doctors, regulators, and other stakeholders expect from digital technologies; and assess what IMI could do to bridge any gaps in digital health research. Discussions will also address the question of data ownership, access and use.

RADAR-CNS is jointly led by King’s College London and Janssen Pharmaceutica NV, funded by the IMI (a Public Private Partnership established between the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) and the European Union) and includes 24 organisations from across Europe and the US.
