RADAR-CNS and The Hyve win best poster at Bio-IT World 2017

In June 2017, RADAR-CNS partner The Hyve presented a poster of the project at Bio-IT World, a leading health and biotech IT and informatics conference,...

The poster illustrates the architecture behind the platform, including data collection, storage, aggregation and analysis, as well as the user interfaces and the Application Programming Interface (API) which allow users to interact with the platform. The poster also outlines the RADAR-CNS epilepsy pilot study, which aims to evaluate wearable device data for passive remote monitoring of patients in a hospital epilepsy monitoring unit. Data collection from the project’s first patient has already begun.

This year Bio-IT world was attended by 3,300+ life sciences, pharmaceutical, clinical, healthcare, and IT professionals from more than 40 countries. There was a focus on big data, smart data, open source solutions, data sharing and other research and clinical topics. The Hyve played a prominent role in Bio-IT world, including winning best of show, and helping to run the FAIR data hackathon.

RADAR-CNS project partners are building innovative new features into the RADAR platform, including security and user management. The platform is open source. Feedback on the RADAR platform, study setups and prototypes is welcome. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are a clinician interested in using the platform, or if you are a patient with epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, or major depressive disorder and you are interested in participating in our clinical trials.
